Woke up on the last day and couldnt stand the stupid 'free' breakfast of two slices of toast at the lodge. Went to have roti canai (not prata lah!) and a good glass of teh tarik.
Couldnt quite fill the bottomless pit, so fried chicken! Heavenly. So tender and juicy.
Can come back a second time if I ever do come back a second time
And what's the headline? 'Sabah is now doing very well'. Well of course, after a whole week of 4 people spending hundereds of ringgit there.
Once more at the airport checking in.
JB is a popular destination
Taxi
This is a newbie. Teaching us how to tighten our seatbelts. Like thats going to be a GREAT help if the plane crashes.
She's holding on to the flight SOP while speaking on the PA system. Made a few stupid mistakes in the speech.
Smoking allowed on row 4 for some strange reason.
From a distance, its just a molehill
Goodbye KK, goodbye mount K
Cotton wool
Found this strange island in the middle of the sea whith a strange cloud directly above it.
JB topology

Not supposed to take pictures while on the tarmac, dont know why. Maybe flash can blind the pilots eyes?
Its the same plane we used to get to KK and back
Last meal of the trip, MarryBrown fast food. This is a double cheese spicy chicken burger.
The girls with their lunch. Valiantly trying to look happy.
Bus from airport to town. Took us almost 30 minutes.
Double helix motif roadlamps
At the city waiting for a bus back to our little red island.
With that, this series ends. I hope you've enjoyed the pictures far far more than I dreaded resizing and posting them up one by one. It has been a very wonderful trip which will remain etched in our minds for a long long time, long after the sore legs heal and empty pockets filled.

convo
This post is in no particular order and I dont have the time to reorder it. The first part is the actual convo itself at the UCC where I helped Terror Teren take some pics with his friends and the later part of the post shows the 4 honours students taking group pics with the lab people.
We started from the lab, went to CRC, then to DSO then to the bus stop to the new admin building. Go figure.
And yes, I just love the hat throwing thing.
