Kobe

Kobe is a pretty near city to Kyoto, about 50 minutes away by train. Went to the Kawasaki museum next to the harbour, didn't know they made jetplanes, helicopters and trains as well (I think they made our MRT)

Ancient Kawasaki offroader. Love it.

Concept superbike.

Coke float and a cafe latte.

Early boats at sunrise in the harbour.

Cold day with the clouds trying hard to keep it that way.

JUst next to uni, along AYE. I was a kid the last time I saw fish swimming in the drains. Kinda startled me to see fish in that big monsoon drain.

Nobel museum

http://newshub.nus.edu.sg/headlines/0610/nobel_26oct06.htm

Went to see what they had. Quite interesting actually. They used the new uni hall to display all the stuff and showed letters from the original winners, their apparatus and some movie clips. There were two built up little cinemas with 3 screens in them and excellent surround sound showing clips of the Nobel winners and their institutions flimmed in very thought provoking manner. Then there were boards telling you how they chose the winner, and model houses of the institutes that choose the 5 winners. Then right in the middle there was this giant machine thingy that moved banners of the winners through a maze of conveyor belt. Pretty cool. Will go back there again soon to watch the videos from the second room. Only had time to go for the first one.
