taken over the past two months, the tear down process of the ex pharmacology department building. they are building a new higher block in its place.

uk boy came again for a few hours to the lab on a stopover visit. we were more interested in the shortbread he brought. good stuff.

jigsaw puzzle

Bought a jigsaw puzzle and spent about 20 hours on it. can glow in the dark!
very addictive, once I started, spent the whole week sleeping only at 2am. shag out the next day.

badminton

booked for two hours and got trashed by mel. good sweaty time. next week, tennis!

spinelli's voucher

As usual, we armtwist some company to give us food vouchers. $10 of Spinelli's buys 3 slices of cake. A welcome change in the usual papaya-watermelon desert for lunch.

2007 graduation

As tradition goes, the outgoing batch comes back to take a few pics with the lab. This year its korean boy and movie girl.


Due to heavy workload during honours year, the two have yet to recover fully from their tiredness.

Ed and Mel's treat

For mel's first month pay and Ed's BIG stipend increment, we got a mini lunch treat. pizza hut having some promo, so we ordered a regular of every single pizza on their menu, plus wings, drumlets and garlic bread. Teren was abstaining from chicken (his new religion, called Terenism) and so the rest had more to eat.
