prof and a few others went to turkey for a conference, she got back for the lab a slate of dates and a box of turkish delights. awfully sweet and coated with either sugar or coconut. and filled with nuts. not bad, but not something i can munch on for a whole day.

we went for BTC, aka bukit timah campus, aka basic training center for lunch today.
took a 20 minutes bus from main campus.

all the super old buildings from ex-smu, ex-nus, now become nus again.
